Cole Retires After 47 Years in the Electrical Trade
October 6, 2025 – Lakewood, CO — On September 30, Encore Electric Vice President of Business Development Chris Cole retired after 23 years with the company. Cole was critical to expanding business units and exploring new markets to support the growth of the Encore Electric team.
Chris Cole joined Encore Electric upon its founding as Director of Preconstruction and was actively pursuing work within two weeks of the company opening its doors, helping win some of the earliest Encore Electric projects including Denver Seminary, Adams 14 and 50 high schools, Obermeyer Resort in Aspen, Vail Front Door, and Manor Vail.
Throughout his career with Encore Electric, Cole also served as Director of Technology Solutions before becoming Vice President of Business Development. Known for his strong will, strategic vision, and confidence, Chris helped establish Encore Electric in the company’s early days, opening doors and building relationships that have continued to support the success of Encore Electric in the construction industry.
Some of Cole’s most influential accomplishments throughout his career with Encore Electric include securing the company’s footprint in the data center market, developing the Technology Solutions team, business development in Utah, and growing Encore Electric to provide career opportunities for hundreds of Encore Electric families.
