We caught up with Nick Archer, a third-year apprentice, while on the job at the Williams Village East Residence Hall Project in Boulder, CO. Nick always knew he wanted to work with his hands and was working on small maintenance jobs when he decided to pursue a longer-term career with opportunities for advancement. He found what he was looking for at Encore Electric and quickly became a team lead, taking responsibility for his team’s day-to-day success on the job.

At Encore Electric, we provide a range of well-paid career paths starting with electrical apprenticeship, plus the training and education you need to succeed in all of them. In addition to the traditional route that starts with apprenticeship, our employees can pursue CAD, BIM, VDC, preconstruction and systems.

Encore Electric is dedicated to training our electricians on the best way to do their jobs. Every day, we use a combination of Encore University, field instruction, and hands-on training to set our apprentices up to become well-rounded journeymen.
