Company Receives Two National Awards Based on Safety and Culture from CSEA 2026 and USA Today
May 4, 2026 — CO, UT, MT, WY — In Spring 2026, Encore Electric earned two national awards from the Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) and USA Today. Both awards are rooted in the company’s commitment to safety and culture, which are intertwined at Encore Electric. Safety is the top priority at Encore Electric and is supported by a positive workplace culture built on strong principles, accountability, and teammates looking out for one another.
Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA)
Encore Electric was recognized as one of the safest contractors in America, after earning third place nationally in the 2.25-4 million manhour group at the annual Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) CSEA.
“We recently earned third place in the 2.5-4 million manhour specialty division at the 2026 AGC CSEA awards, and that recognition belongs to our men and women in the field. It reflects the daily choices they make to do the job the right way – looking out for one another, following the process, and staying committed to safe, high-quality work. This achievement is a direct result of their consistency, accountability, and pride in what they do every day,” said Encore Electric Director of Safety Mike Callison.
Top Workplace in America
Encore Electric was named one of the USA Today’s Top Workplaces in America, ranking #60 among organizations with 1,000-2,499 employees. The company also earned national recognition in the construction industry, placing #4 overall.
Top Workplace awards are determined by employee input collected through a confidential, third-party survey conducted by Energage, an employee engagement technology partner. The survey evaluates key aspects of the employee experience, including job satisfaction, company communication, overall work environment, and how personal values align with the company values such as safety and culture.
“Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the Energage survey last October. More than 2,600 companies across the US completed the Energage survey and were entered into the USA Today Top Workplace competition. The top 100 companies were ranked by category. This year, we are honored to place in two categories,” said David Scott, Encore Electric director of external affairs. “Congratulations on being a nationally recognized Top Workplace. Culture matters. You matter.”
Encore Electric celebrates earning these two national awards from CSEA 2026 and USA Today. These awards recognize our dedication to safety and culture driven by the attitude, values, and commitment to service that teammates bring to the project sites and offices every single day.
