Encore Electric Graduates 31 from Electrician Programs
June 20, 2023 – Lakewood, CO — This spring, Encore Electric celebrates the graduation of 31 apprentices from electrician programs across the Rocky Mountain West. Over the last few weeks, graduates have gathered with their families, friends, and Encore Electric teammates to celebrate the major milestone in their educational and electrical careers.
“Graduates, in my role as Regional Director for the IEC Western Region, I had the opportunity to see and talk with graduates from IEC Western Colorado, IEC Rocky Mountain and Southern Colorado IEC,” said David Scott, director of external affairs. “It was great to see you and I congratulate you on your awesome accomplishment. This will become the baseline for the rest of your career as you choose your own adventure!“
Apprentices have spent the last few years working hard at work, taking classes, studying, and working full time to gain job skills and experience.
“It’s inspiring to see the dedication each of these graduates had throughout their four years of school,” said Kayla Doyle, human resources generalist. “It takes immense drive, work ethic, and commitment to work 40-plus hours a week, attend class, do homework, and show up for your friends and family every day. Congratulations to each graduate – we’re excited to see what you continue to achieve at Encore Electric!”
Following completion of the electrician program, Encore Electric graduates have jumped right into their electrical careers continuing to make important contributions to major projects throughout the Rocky Mountain West. Eager to continue growing in their careers, many Encore Electric graduates have already taken and passed their journeyman’s licensing exam.
