Team Recognized for Operating by Strong Values, Trade Partnerships

April 12, 2022 – Lakewood, CO — The Encore Electric team continues to demonstrate the organization’s commitment to operating by strong values, taking care of employees, and partnering with the best in the industry. This is no more apparent than when the organization continues to show up on industry lists of top performers and workplaces.

For the second year in a row, Encore Electric has been named one of the Top 600 Workplaces in the United States by Energage and their partner news organizations. Encore also scored in the top 25 percent of all employers taking the survey in the area of “Operating by Strong Values”. Other recognition includes the categories of Compensation, Employee Value Proposition, Formal Training and Top Leaders.

The award is based on feedback that is offered by employees of the organization through a third-party survey administered by Energage. More than 650 Encore Electric employees offered their invaluable feedback and input to the organization this year. The survey asks questions about work-life balance, training, alignment, connection, and engagement. These results are compared to organizations across the United States with a similar number of employees.

Encore Electric is one of the top construction firms in the category, which includes some of the most well-known organizations in the country.

In addition to be recognized by our employee feedback and Energage, Encore Electric is proud to once again be featured on the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Top Performers List. The team came in at #14 on the trade contractors list and #36 overall.

Contractors on the list have achieved STEP Gold or higher (a safety program that emphasizes leadership and culture dedication to safety and best practices) and are also members of the ABC Accredited Quality Contractor Program. Each contractor that meets these requirements are then ranked by work hours to end up on the list.

According to the ABC, “the value propositions of the companies on the ABC’s fourth annual Top Performers lists give their employees purpose, deliver for their clients and add to their bottom lines.”

“We wake up every day to serve our customers, and one way to do that best is to have a culture where employees thrive,” said Willis Wiedel, Encore Electric President. “I am so proud of the work our team has done, especially as essential employees through the pandemic. I am grateful for the amazing contributions of everyone on the Encore Electric team.”
