Denver, CO — Encore Electric, a regional specialty contractor headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado, is proud to announce their sponsorship of the 2018 A Taste of Colorado Outdoor Festival, to be held September 1 -3 at Denver’s Civic Center Park.
The phone charging station at the festival will be sponsored by Encore Electric, part of their continuing commitment to supporting civic organizations like the Downtown Denver Partnership.
“We are proud to support the people, organizations and businesses that make Denver the premier place to work, live and play in the United States,” said Willis Wiedel, President of Encore Electric. “We have worked on many projects downtown, and our support of A Taste of Colorado means a lot to our organization and our people.”
Encore Electric has worked on a diverse range of buildings in the Downtown Denver area, including the Ralph L. Carr Judicial Complex, the 16th and Chestnut project that is currently under construction, 1800 Larimer, 1601 Wewatta and many, many more.
“The phone charging station that we are sponsoring will give attendees an opportunity to relax, get out of the sun a little bit, and recharge while still remaining in the thick of the action,” said Meg VanderLaan, Chief Marketing Officer at Encore Electric. “This event is the cornerstone of the many efforts undertaken by the members of the Downtown Denver Partnership every year, and we are proud to stand together with our business partners to put on a great event.”
Celebrating its 15th year in business, the men and women of Encore Electric take special pride in the places they live and work. When they are not building some of the biggest and most complex projects in the Denver, the Mountains, Northern Colorado or Wyoming, the team from Encore Electric gives their free time by volunteering in their communities.
In addition to the phone charging station, Encore will have a booth at the event where they will introduce people to the electrical industry. There will be a hands-on demonstration of what an electrician does in his or her job, an opportunity to speak with our staff about a career in the electrical industry and free giveaways every day.
