Breckenridge Recreation Center, UCCS VAPA projects honored
November 12, 2018 – Denver, CO — The Associated General Contractors of Colorado (AGC Colorado) is the collective voice of the construction industry in Colorado. Every year, AGC Colorado holds the ACE Awards, where projects from around the state are honored as the best of the best. And this year, as in previous years, the Encore Electric team received awards from AGC Colorado for our projects completed in the last year.
The team picked up two awards in total, in two of the most prestigious categories: the Breckenridge Recreation Center project won a bronze award in the “Contribution to the Community” category and the UCCS Visual and Performing Arts Center project won a 1st Place ACE Award in the “Specialty Contractor – Over $10 Million” category. Teams from those projects were on hand to accept the awards and be recognized by their peers.
The Breckenridge Recreation Center was also recognized by the Mayor of Breckenridge, who was quoted in the award submission. “The recent renovation to our Recreation Center in Breckenridge is an amazing amenity for our community. While I’m there every day, I hear countless comments from people who are blown away by what our team has been able to achieve,” said Eric Mamula, the mayor of Breckenridge. “Myself and the entire Town Council are thankful for everyone involved in the project that worked hard to make these renovations happen in a smooth and timely manner.”
