Allen Chosen for His Extensive Experience in Accounting and Construction
August 21, 2023 – Lakewood, Colo. — After a comprehensive search and interview process, Jeff Allen has been named Chief Financial Officer of Encore Electric. Allen stepped into the position last week, joining the other members of the Encore Electric senior leadership team in moving the organization forward.
Allen is an experienced finance and accounting executive with extensive experience serving a variety of organizations, including two Fortune 500 companies, multiple organizations in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry, and one of the “Big 4” accounting firms.

As we have gotten to know him over the past few months, it has been apparent that he will be a great fit for Encore Electric,” said Andy Gordon, President. “His experience, work ethic and values are aligned with the culture of our company, and we are confident he will be a valuable asset to Encore.”
Allen received a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from Utah State University and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Colorado chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.
Allen replaces outgoing Chief Financial Officer Greg Ast, who will continue to serve Encore Electric as Executive Vice President.
