Christine Romero is the Chief of Staff at Encore Electric. She is truly the living embodiment of the merit shop philosophy at Encore Electric, as she started with the Encore team as a part-time receptionist and has held many positions throughout her tenure, including as an executive assistant, a project coordinator, apprenticeship coordinator, human resources, and assisting in preconstruction/estimating.

Romero attended the Community College of Denver before joining the Encore Electric team. She has worked with the senior leadership team ever since the founders of Encore Electric started the organization and has proven herself to be invaluable to the company. When Encore Electric needed something or someone to help push the team to be successful, Romero was there to fill that gap.

As Chief of Staff, Romero is responsible for all committees, managing the time and schedules of the CEO and president, serving on the Encore Electric Board of Directors, and representing Encore Electric in various ways on boards and committees in the construction industry throughout its operating area, including the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado and the Associated General Contractors of Colorado. Romero leads numerous initiatives at Encore Electric, including the Culture of Care program, community engagement, and many more.

Romero’s passion is making sure that Encore Electric is a great place to work for teammates and their families. She believes in extending the same opportunities afforded to her to others who are looking for a great career in the electrical trade and works to help other people in her community understand what a career as an electrician can do for them.

Romero is from Denver, Colorado and still calls the city home. In her spare time, Romero enjoys traveling, giving back to the community, and the outdoors.
