This three story, 145,776 sqft., LEED Platinum building serves the future residents of Wilderness Road (1st building in U.S. Army to receive LEED Platinum). This design-build building has 2 sections: one section serves the battalion and the other serves the brigade. Encore Electric installed the pad mount transformer and the feeds to the Generator back-up system and UPS back up, fire alarm mass notification, interior and exterior lighting, lighting control, all back boxes and raceways for telecom and security, branch power and lighting and any connections to mechanical equipment and plumbing. Encore supervised the installation of such specialty systems like lightning protection, telecommunications, and cathodic protection.
