The Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art relocated its art collection from the existing museum at East 13th Avenue and Pearl Street to a new facility at West 12th Avenue and Bannock Street in Denver’s Golden Triangle neighborhood. The project involved construction of a new 37,000 square-foot facility to include spaces for public galleries, art storage, art restoration, and staff offices. The project also involved detaching the existing 1,600 square-foot brick art studio at the existing museum site and relocating it to the new building site.
