$51 million upgrade and expansion of the 40 year old University of Colorado Boulder Recreation Center. The original 235,242 sqft. building was gutted, replacing all electrical and mechanical systems as well as adding a 70,000 sqft. addition. Substantial changes were made that included: new indoor ice rink, three-court basketball gym and indoor-turf gym that doubles the size of the group fitness studio, state-of-the-art three story rock climbing and bouldering gym, new locker rooms and rooftop tennis courts.
