This 84,000 sqft. IT Facility is the new Tier 3 Data Center hub for the University of Wyoming, containing 4 floors and a mechanical penthouse. The basement level is used for storage and has the main pump room. The 1st floor has offices and training classrooms that have video conferencing. The students have access to a 24/7 computer lab on the 1st floor. The 2nd level is 60% offices and 40% data center. The 3rd floor is all office space. The building itself has all the UW staff that are in charge of keeping the information for all campus flowing. Encore installed a 3000-amp service, with a new 1.5 MW Cummins Gen set. The data center also has 2 redundant 400 KVA UPS units providing power the Starline busway.
