Students From IECRM, IECSCC, and CITC Celebrate Graduation Amid Pandemic
June 25, 2020 – Encore Electric is proud and excited to congratulate our 34 electrical apprentices that are graduating this month. Electrical Apprentices graduating from programs at Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM), Independent Electrical Contractors Southern Colorado Chapter (IECSCC), and Construction Industry Training Council (CITC) are celebrating this milestone in unique ways due to the pandemic. IECRM streamed a graduation ceremony on June 6, 2020, while IECSCC has an in-person graduation scheduled for Sunday, July 19 at Creekside Event Center in Colorado Springs, and CITC is still exploring ideas for a digital graduation celebration.
David Scott, Director of Human Resources at Encore Electric, shares his warm wishes with this year’s group of graduates. “This year’s Graduation will be as unique as the graduates. Many of this year’s graduates will graduate virtually,” he said. “They will get to have their own story to cap off their four years of hard work and my hat is off to them and their families. Look me up on the jobsite when the pandemic ends so I may congratulate you in person!”
