The New Role For Al Paxton Incorporates All Elements of People Development and Human Resources

November 1, 2021 – Lakewood, Colo. – Encore Electric is pleased to announce that Al Paxton has been named its first Chief People Officer. With a significant background in strategic leadership and human resources through his career as a senior leader within the United States Army Special Operations Command, Al brings unique capabilities to unite all elements of people development at Encore Electric, from recruiting and retention to learning and development through career growth and succession planning.

As the Chief People Officer, Al will draw on his experiences of facilitating effective teams to lead all facets of careers at Encore Electric from the moment team members are hired, and their ongoing growth and development until they retire.  This is a role that brings together all components of Human Resources, Learning and Development, and Engagement.

Al joins Encore Electric after two and a half decades and of experience in the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  His career incorporates strategy, team development, U.S. embassy security, counter-insurgency, counter-terrorism, and international affairs.  He has been awarded seven Bronze Star Medals, the FBI Shield of Bravery and the Air Medal among many others.
